About Me
Around 2001, I started to do more color photography, but due to higher costs, I was limited by taking my development to a local lab. The digital age for maintain photos was still on the horizons, and thus I found myself quite limited when it came to controlling my work. Several years later, I found there were occasions where I took a roll of film to a ‘1 hour development shop’ and picked up the photos hours or a day later. It wasn’t long before I became frustrated with photo shops advertising “1 hour development” and didn’t live up to or commit to their advertisement; nor did they discount the development costs when they were late. After one too many incidents of this, I reevaluated the digital photography technology and finally switched over to the other side.
My first digital camera was a Minolta A1 SLR-Type (5MegaPixel and a fixed 28-200mm lens). At the time, this camera was my new ‘pride and joy’. I still have the Minolta, but it has since been replaced with a Fuji S9100 as the CCD chip on the Minolta started to go bad on me.
Unless noted otherwise, all of the photographs on this blog were taken with my Fuji S9100. In the future, I do plan on including some of my older work from my Minolta as well as scanning in some of my original b/w prints.
